Some say that the family-unit is the fundamental unit of culture. However, the fundamental unit is, of course, the couple: the man and woman. And the better the quality of the relationship between the average man and woman, then the better will be the culture overall. Likewise: the more rotten the relationship between the average man and woman, then the more rotten will be the overall culture.
In the US, black culture is stronger, in every fundamental way. The cause is simple and reasonable: the average black man and woman have a better relationship than exists between the average white man and woman. It is a long story, but each of the following two songs shows a different cultural pulse: black vs white.
White relationships: competition (comparisons), exploitation, servility (illustrated by “High above me” –Tal Bachman)
Lyrics:
White man: She’s blood, flesh and bone, no tucks or silicone. She’s touch, smell, sight, taste and sound but somehow I can’t believe that anything should happen I know where I belong and nothing’s gonna happen, yeah. Cause she’s so high, high above me, she’s so lovely. She’s so high, like Cleopatra, Joan of Arc or Aphrodite Do, do, do, do do. She’s so high, high above me. A first class and fancy free, she’s high society, she’s got the best of everything. What could a guy like me ever really offer? She’s perfect as she can be, why should I even bother — Aha. Cause she’s so high, high above me, she’s so lovely she’s so high, like Cleopatra, Joan of Arc or Aphrodite do, do, do, do do she’s so high, high above me. She comes to speak to me, I freeze immediately, cause what she says sounds so unreal, somehow I can’t believe, that anything should happen I know where I belong and nothing’s gonna happen, yeah yeah yeah. Cause she’s so high, high above me, she’s so lovely she’s so high, like Cleopatra, Joan of Arc or Aphrodite oh yeah yeah yeah she’s so high, high above me.
White Woman: *prances around being painted and shaved–you know pretty*
Black relationships: candor, encouragement and sex (illustrated by “You can do it” — Ice Cube)
Lyrics:
Black woman: You can do it put your back into it.
Black man: I can do it put your ass into it
Conclusion
Plenty foolish people will say one or both of two key things:
1. “Black US culture is not superior to white US culture–just look at how much more successful white people are at life.”
Sure–white people are “more successful”…if we call it success to have a mind and body that are entirely disconnected, and a personal constitution that reeks of servility and competition. Otherwise, it is simple to see that our culture was built on hundreds of years of slavery–the effects of that are ongoing. One of the effects is to rot the minds and lives many white US citizens by socially engineered self-righteousness about their “success,” as well as rotting their minds with apathy towards the true history of the United States.
2., “Those black people were just talking about sex.” Nope–they were encouraging each other…to engage in rigorous sex. Many white US citizens have a perspective on sex that is built almost entirely on guilt and shame. Attention those white citizens: continue mocking and scoffing black US citizens for their celebration of sex–and you will be extinct soon enough.
